LOCAL LAW 2 OF 1998 Int. No. 804-A By Council Members Koslowitz, Eristoff, Eisland, Fisher, McCaffrey, Pagan, Pinkett, Wooten, Stabile, and the Public Advocate (Mr. Green); also Council Members Fields, Marshall, Michels, Miller, Povman and Sabini A LOCAL LAW To amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the prohibition of discriminatory pricing. Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Section 20-750 of the administrative code of the city of New York, as amended by local law number 32 for the year 1990, is amended by adding a new subdivision c to read as follows: c. Notwithstanding any other law, rule or regulation, and in addition to any other penalties provided in this code or elsewhere, the disclosure of differing prices or fees based upon gender by a retail service establishment shall constitute a violation of this subchapter.
