Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter one of title ten of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended to add a new section 10-161 to read as follows: �10-161. a. Signage at automated teller machines. At each of its automated teller machines, a bank shall post a clearly visible sign containing the following information: (i) the total amount of money that may be withdrawn from the automated teller machine in a single transaction; (ii) the total amount of money that may be withdrawn from a customer's account using an automated teller machine in a single day; and (iii) any fees or costs that will be charged to the user for the use of the automated teller machine to conduct a banking transaction. b. For the purpose of this section, the terms "automated teller machine" and "bank" shall have the same meanings as those terms are defined in section 10-160 of this chapter. �2.
