Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section one. Section 2503 of chapter sixty-seven of the New York City charter is hereby amended by the addition of a new paragraph (d), to follow (c), to read as follows:
(d) coordinate city agencies, improve, supervise and prioritize the funding for historic sites within the city, and to act as a source of technical information and support for the rehabilitation and improvement of historic sites.
�2. Chapter 67 of the New York City charter is hereby amended by the addition of a new section, 2503.1, to follow 2503, to read as follows:
�2503.1. Historic sites. The commissioner shall prepare a list of all historic sites within the city. This list shall include a brief description of individual sites, including a statement of current ownership and overall condition. The commissioner shall also submit an annual report on the status of these historic sites to the City Council. This report shall include any work scheduled for improvement of individual sites, as well as the source funding for individual projects.
�3. This local law shall take effect immediately.
