Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Section 19-507 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new subdivision g to read as follows: g. Any driver licensed by the commission who is found to have violated horn honking prohibitions, shall be issued a warning for the first violation; be subject to the mandatory suspension of his or her license for a one-week period for the second violation within a one-year period; be subject to the mandatory suspension of his or her license for a one-month period for the third violation within a one-year period; and be subject to the mandatory suspension of his or her license for a one-year period for the fourth violation within a one-year period. �2.
