Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Section 19-163 of the administrative code of the city of New York, is amended by adding a new subdivision c to read as follows:
c. If any New York state or national holiday falls on a Tuesday, all alternate side of the street parking rules shall be suspended on the Monday immediately preceding such holiday in addition to the day of such holiday. If any such state or national holiday falls on a Thursday, all alternate side of the street parking rules shall be suspended on the Friday immediately following such holiday in addition to the day of such holiday.
�2. This local law shall take effect immediately.
