Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subdivision a of section 6-116.2 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new paragraph 9, to read as follows: (9) whether the contract has been awarded to a contractor certified by the department of business services as a minority- or woman-owned business enterprise; and, if so certified as a minority- owned business enterprise, whether the ownership of the contractor is predominantly by African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians, or Native Americans, as defined in the public authorities law. �2. This local law shall take effect 45 days after its adoption.
