Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Subject to the provisions of chapter 69 of the laws of 2002, the retirement incentive authorized by Part A of such act is made available to employees of the city of New York who meet the criteria set forth in part A of such act. The open period, as defined in subdivision j of section 1 of part A, shall commence on July 11, 2002 and end on October 8, 2002.
� 2. This local law shall take effect immediately.
