Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section one. Paragraph 17 of subdivision d of Section 2800 of Chapter 70 of the New York City Charter is hereby amended to read as follows:
(17) Exercise the initial review of applications and proposals of public agencies and private entities for the use, development or improvement of land located in the community district or the siting of a new city service or agency facility in its community district, including the conduct of a public hearing and the preparation and submission to the city planning commission of a written recommendation.
§2. This local law shall take effect immediately.
