Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subdivision a of section 25-423.1 of the administrative code of the city of New York, as amended by local law number 30 for the year 2002, is amended to read as follows: a. The city council having determined, pursuant to subdivision b of section 25-410 of chapter four of this title, that it is in the public interest to authorize an increase in the amount to be expended annually in the 34th Street business improvement district beginning on July 1, [2002] 2003, and the council having determined further that the tax and debt limits prescribed in section 25-412 of chapter four of this title will not be exceeded by such increased expenditure, there is hereby authorized in such district an annual expenditure of [seven million nine hundred ninety-four thousand dollars ($7,994,000)] eight million one hundred ninety-eight thousand five hundred dollars ($8,198,500). § 2. Subdivision a of section 25-426 of the administrative code of the city of New York, as amended by local law number 30 for the year 2002, is amended to read as follows: a. The city council having determined, pursuant to subdivision b of section 25-410 of chapter four of this title, that it is in the public interest to authorize an increase in the amount to be expended annually in the 82nd Street business improvement district beginning on July 1, [2002] 2003, and the council having determined further that the tax and debt limits prescribed in section 25-412 of chapter four of this title will not be exceeded by such increased expenditure, there is hereby authorized in such district an annual expenditure of [one hundred fifty-seven thousand four hundred twenty dollars ($157,420)] one hundred eighty-seven thousand dollars ($187,000). § 3. Subdivision a of section 25-435 of the administrative code of the city of New York, as amended by local law number 30 for the year 2002, is amended to read as follows: a. The city council having determined, pursuant to subdivision b of section 25-410 of chapter four of this title, that it is in the public interest to authorize an increase in the amount to be expended annually in the Flatbush Avenue business improvement district beginning on July 1, [2002] 2003, and the council having determined further that the tax and debt limits prescribed in section 25-412 of chapter four of this title will not be exceeded by such increased expenditure, there is hereby authorized in such district an annual expenditure of [two hundred ninety-one thousand two hundred dollars ($291,200)] three hundred fourteen thousand five hundred twenty dollars ($314,520). § 4. Chapter 5 of title 25 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 25-452.1 to read as follows: § 25-452.1 47th Street business improvement district a. The city council having determined, pursuant to subdivision b of section 25-410 of chapter four of this title, that it is in the public interest to authorize an increase in the amount to be expended annually in the 47th Street business improvement district beginning on July 1, 2003, and the council having determined further that the tax and debt limits prescribed in section 25-412 of chapter four of this title will not be exceeded by such increased expenditure, there is hereby authorized in such district an annual expenditure of three hundred thirty-one thousand three hundred sixty-seven dollars ($331,367). b. The amount of such expenditure to be levied upon each property in the district shall be determined in accordance with the method of assessment set forth in the 47th Street business improvement district plan. § 5. Chapter 5 of title 25 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 25-461 to read as follows: §25-461 Columbus/Amsterdam business improvement district a. The city council having determined, pursuant to subdivision b of section 25-410 of chapter four of this title, that it is in the public interest to authorize an increase in the amount to be expended annually in the Columbus/Amsterdam business improvement district beginning on July 1, 2003, and the council having determined further that the tax and debt limits prescribed in section 25-412 of chapter four of this title will not be exceeded by such increased expenditure, there is hereby authorized in such district an annual expenditure of two hundred one thousand six hundred dollars ($201,600). b. The amount of such expenditure to be levied upon each property in the district shall be determined in accordance with the method of assessment set forth in the Columbus/Amsterdam business improvement district plan. § 6. This local law shall take effect immediately and shall be retroactive to and deemed to have been in full force and effect as of July 1, 2003.
