Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter one of title 14 is amended by adding a new section 14-151 to read as follows: § 14-151. Police precinct emergency power. a. By January 1, 2007, all police precincts shall be equipped with an emergency power source sufficient to operate essential equipment for at least 48 hours. b. Police precinct emergency power sources shall be tested annually, including, when practicable, testing under loss of power conditions. § 2. This local law shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. LS# 691 RBU 4/27/2004
