Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subchapter nineteen of chapter one of title 27 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended to read as follows: §27-194 Posting of permit. A permit card bearing the permit number, application number, location of the premises or equipment for which the permit is issued, and such other information as the commissioner may determine, shall be furnished to the applicant in connection with the issuance of the permit; and such permit card and any document describing any amendment to the permit shall be posted in a conspicuous place at such location open to public inspection during the entire time of the prosecution of the work or the use and operation of the equipment, or until the expiration of the permit. No such permit card shall be posted or displayed at any location other than the location of the premises or equipment for which the permit was issued. §2. This local law shall apply to all existing building permits and all permits issued subsequent to the effective date of this local law, irrespective of when any such permit was filed. §3. This local law shall take effect immediately. LS #1642 BR 10/26/04
