Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter forty-six of the charter of the city of New York is hereby amended to add a new section 1057-b to read as follows: §1057-b Qualifications of voters for municipal elections. A person shall vote at any election for municipal office if he or she is or will be, on the day of such election, sixteen years of age or over, and meets all the other qualifications and requirements to vote set forth in the new york state election law. §2. This local law shall take effect 90 days after enactment. SD Int657/2005
