Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Subdivision 4 of subparagraph a of section 27-129 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended to read as follows:
(4) Such examination shall also be conducted in accordance with applicable rules promulgated by the commissioner. Such rules shall include, but not be limited to, the requirements for the safe installation of window air conditioners and the use of air conditioner brackets only where necessary.
§2. This local law shall take effect ninety days after its enactment.
