Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Section PC 606 of the New York city plumbing code is amended by adding a new subsection 606.7.1 to read as follows: 606.7.1 Water sub-meters required in certain residential units. Water distribution pipe lines serving a dwelling unit in a 1-4 family dwelling shall be equipped with at least one water sub-meter for each dwelling unit to measure the amount of water supplied through such lines to each dwelling unit. §2. This local law shall take effect one hundred twenty days after its enactment. LER LS 2269 6/16/11
