Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter one of title 18 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 18-140 to read as follows: §18-140 Permit fee waiver for groups of children. a. Any school that provides educational instruction at or below the twelfth grade level or any child day care center that applies for a permit for the use of any park services under the jurisdiction of the commissioner shall not be required to pay any fee for such permit. b. The commissioner shall provide for free permit applications for such schools and day care centers to be available on the department’s website. §2. This local law shall take effect ninety days after its enactment. KS LS #3210 4/17/12
