Full text
Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Section 10-157 of the administrative code of the city of New York is
amended to add a new subdivision j to read as follows:
j. The provisions of this section shall be enforceable by an authorized employee of
the police department or department of transportation or any other person authorized by law.
§2. Subdivision e of section 10-157.1 of the administrative code of the city of
New York, as added by local law number 10 for the year 2007, is amended to read as follows:
e. The provisions of this section shall be enforceable by [the police commissioner]
an authorized employee of the police department or department of transportation or any other
person authorized by law.
§ 3. This local law shall take effect one hundred and eighty days after it shall have
become law.
