Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Section 24-163 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new subdivision h to read as follows: (h) The restrictions of this section shall not apply to zero emission vehicles, which for the purposes of this section shall mean any motor vehicle that produces no tailpipe emissions from its source of power. §2. This local law shall take effect ninety days after its enactment. KS LS #2184 5/31/11
