Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subdivision a of section 19-504.3 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new paragraph 9 to read as follows: (9) A commuter van service shall display the destination, company, and contact information of such company on the exterior of the van and in at least one window. Such information shall be in English and any other language that the commission, by rule, determines to be necessary and appropriate, including, but not limited to, each of the top two limited-English proficiency languages spoken by the population of New York City, as those languages are determined by the department of city planning based on United States census data. § 2. This local law shall take effect immediately. TM LS# 4076 3/19/13
