Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Section 17-314 of subchapter 2 of chapter 3 of title 17 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new subdivision e to read as follows: e. Post the total selling price for each food item offered for sale from any vehicle or pushcart used in the operation of a food vending business. Such posting shall be displayed in print or digital format. It shall be unlawful for a food vendor to charge more than the total amount displayed on such vehicle or pushcart. �2. This local law shall take effect 120 days after it becomes law, provided, however, that the commissioner shall take any actions necessary prior to such effective date for the implementation of this local law including the adoption of any necessary rules.
