Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 48 of the New York city charter is amended by adding a new section 1076 to read as follows: �1076 Limits on Fees Charged for Online Payments. The maximum fee that an agency or other City governmental entity may charge for the payment of a tax, penalty, fee or other payment to the City of New York online, rather than payment by other means, shall be fifty dollars, or two percent of the amount of such payment, whichever is less. �2.
