Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 1 of title six of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 6-142 to read as follows: �6-142 Public procurement database. a. For the purposes of this section, "agency" means a city, county, borough, or other office, position, administration, department, division, bureau, board or commission, or a corporation, institution or agency of government, the expenses of which are paid in whole or in part from the city treasury. b. The mayor shall establish and maintain a public online database that shall contain the following information for every agency procurement exceeding the small purchase limits set forth in section three hundred fourteen in the charter: (1) the request for bids, request for proposals or other public notice of opportunity to contract with the city; (2) the bids, proposals, or other responses submitted; and (3) details regarding the contract awarded, including (i) the name of the selected contractor; (ii) the term of the contract; and (iii) the dollar amount of the contract. �2.
