Summary
The bill would require the Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) to conduct a study on how growth in the taxi and for-hire vehicle industries has impacted traffic, air quality, noise, and public health. The study would consider factors such as increases in the number of drivers, vehicles, and bases licensed, as well as trips taken. The TLC would be required to post on its website and submit to the Council a copy of the study no later than April 30, 2016.
