Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Section 24-609 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new subdivision c to read as follows: c. 1. The commissioner shall report on the department's website regarding any release of oil of any kind or in any form, including petroleum, fuel oil, sludge, oil refuse, and oil mixed with wastes other than dredged spoil, of which the commissioner has been notified by any means. The report shall be updated monthly online and delivered to the council annually. 2. Such report shall include: (a) The chemical name or common name of the oil; (b) The location of release of the oil; (c) The quantity of the oil that was released; (d) The date on which the oil was released; (e) The name of the party that was responsible for the release of the oil; and (f) Any actions taken with regard to environmental remediation. 3. The commissioner shall notify the council, individual council members whose districts are affected and affected community boards as soon as practicable regarding any release specified in paragraph 1 of this subdivision. � 2. Chapter 1 of title 30 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 30-116 to read as follows: � 30-116. Reporting of the release of oil. a. The commissioner shall report on the office's website regarding any release of any oil of any kind or in any form, including petroleum, fuel oil, sludge, oil refuse, and oil mixed with wastes other than dredged spoil, of which the commissioner has been notified by any means. The report shall be updated monthly online and delivered to the council annually. Such report shall include: 1. The chemical name or common name of the oil; 2. The location of release of the oil; 3. The quantity of the oil that was released; 4. The date on which the oil was released; 5. The name of the party that was responsible for the release of the oil; and 6. Any actions taken with regard to environmental remediation. b.
