By Council Members Greenfield and Koo WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on July 10, 2017, a site plan dated January 12, 2017, pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a new, approximately 332-Seat Primary School Facility, to be located at 4525 8th Avenue (Tax Block 751, Lot 1), Community District No. 12, Borough of Brooklyn, Community School District No. 15 (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on July 17, 2017; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues, including the negative declaration issued June 12, 2017, (SEQR Project Number 17-026) (the "Negative Declaration); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan. RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment as set forth in the Negative Declaration. Pursuant to Section 1732 of the Public Authorities Law, the Council approves the Site Plan. Adopted.
