Summary
This local law would require the New York City Department of Finance to provide notice to owners of Class 2 properties regarding the registration of rent stabilized units with the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, as well as information regarding financing programs administered by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development to facilitate affordability. This notice shall, when practicable, be included on the property tax bill for the payment of property taxes due January 1 of each year.
