Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subchapter 2 of chapter 1 of title 19 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended to add a new section 19-175.6 to read as follows: � 19-175.6 Distance between parking signs. On every block longer than 200 feet, the department shall post a sign indicating parking, standing or stopping regulations every 100 feet or less. For purposes of this section, "block" means a stretch of roadway that connects two intersections. �2. This local law takes effect 90 days after it becomes law.
