Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Title 14 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 14-175 to read as follows: �14-175. Records available on the world wide web. The department's website shall provide a manner in which individuals may submit an on-line request for certain records, including, but not limited to, reports verifying a crime or listing lost property and police accident reports. �2. This local law shall take effect 180 days after its enactment into law, provided that the commissioner may take any actions necessary prior to such effective date for the implementation of this local law including, but not limited to, promulgating rules and regulations.
