Summary
This bill would require the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) to report to the Mayor and the Speaker by January 1, 2021, and every two years thereafter, about the housing lottery system used by HPD. The report would include a summary of implementation challenges and technical difficulties, complaints, procedures for processing and selecting applications, and procedures for populating waiting lists.
