Summary
This bill would require construction done under a Department of Transportation permit to meet three requirements. First, metal plating and decking laid over excavation sites would have to be secured to reduce noise from car traffic. Second, dust and debris would need to be removed, moistened, covered or otherwise secured at the end of the work day to avoid its dispersion into the air. Third, public parking spots that are restricted because of construction activity would have to be released at the end of the work day.
