By Council Members Salamanca and Moya WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on March 30, 2018 its decision dated March 28, 2018 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services and the New York City Police Department, for the site selection of property located on North Conduit Avenue, at the foot of 243rd Street (Block 13265, Lot 30) for use as a police precinct stationhouse (the "Site"), Community District 13, (ULURP No. C 180210 PSQ), Borough of Queens (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to application C 180209 ZMQ (L.U. No. 61), a zoning map amendment to establish a C1-3 zoning district within an existing R3-2 district; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on April 17, 2018; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues, including the negative declaration issued January 12, 2018 (CEQR No. 18NYP0002Q) (the "Negative Declaration"). RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant impact on the environment as set forth in the Negative Declaration. Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Decision and Application, and based on the environmental determination and consideration described in the report, C 180210 PSQ, incorporated by reference herein, the Council approves the Decision of the City Planning Commission.
