By Council Members Salamanca and Adams WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on March 30, 2018 its decision dated March 28, 2018 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the New York City Administration for Children's Services and the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services for the acquisition of property located at 4917 Fourth Avenue (Block 783, Lot 1), for continued use as a child care center (the "Site"), (ULURP No. C 150253 PQK), Community District 7, Borough of Brooklyn (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on April 17, 2018; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues, including the determination that the application is a Type II action pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617.5(c)(26) and requires no further review under CEQR (the "Type II Determination"). RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant impact on the environment since it was determined to be a Type II action. Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Decision and Application, and based on the Type II determination and consideration described in the report, C 150253 PQK, incorporated by reference herein, the Council approves the Decision.
