Summary
The proposed legislation would require the Department of Finance, by no later than November 15 of each year, to provide notice of renewal by phone to property owners required to renew the Senior Citizen Homeowner Exemption or the Disabled Homeowner Exemption. The renewal notice would include, at a minimum, information regarding the mailing of the renewal application to the property owner, the filing deadline for the renewal application, and contact information in the event that the renewal application is not received.
