Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 2 of title 9 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 9-206 to read as follows: � 9-206 Prohibition of private probation companies. No probation service, including supervision of probationers and collection of fees from probationers, shall be provided by any for-profit entity or person. � 2.
