Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Section 28-202.1 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new exception 11 to read as follows: 11. The civil penalty for a violation of section 22-35, 32-663 or 42-551 of the zoning resolution or any other law or rule enforced by the department related to the display of advertising signs on waterways is $100,000, in addition to any separate daily penalty imposed pursuant to item 1 of this section. � 2. This local law takes effect 180 days after it becomes law, except that the commissioner of buildings shall take such measures as are necessary for the implementation of this local law, including the promulgation of rules, before such date.
