Summary
This bill would require the New York City Police Department (“NYPD”) to conduct an annual security assessment at each New York City Housing Authority (“NYCHA”) building, and provide the results of such assessments to NYCHA within 15 days of completion. NYPD would also be required to report quarterly on the number of such building assessments completed by the Department to the Mayor, the Speaker of the Council and NYCHA.
