By Council Members Salamanca and Riley WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on January 19, 2021, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a new, approximately 475-Seat Intermediate School Facility located at 4002 Fort Hamilton Parkway (Block 5587, p/o Lot 38), Community District 12, Borough of Brooklyn, to accommodate students in Community School District No. 15 (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on January 20, 2021; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues, including the negative declaration issued on December 7, 2020, (SEQR Project Number 21-001) (the "Negative Declaration"); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan. RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment as set forth in the Negative Declaration. Pursuant to Section 1732 of the Public Authorities Law, the Council approves the Site Plan. Adopted.
