Summary

This bill would expand upon the information that the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is required to post online, related to the maternal mortality and morbidity review committee (M3RC), created by DOHMH in December 2017. It would also require that the information be posted no later than August 1, 2021, and no later than August 1 annually thereafter.

Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subdivision c of section 17-199.3.1 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended to read as follows: c. No later than August 1, 2021, and no later than August 1 annually thereafter, [The] the department shall post and update as necessary on its website a list of the disciplines represented on the committee established pursuant to this section, the names and titles of the individuals who serve on such committee and a summary of such committee's activities over the prior year. � 2.
