Summary
This bill would require the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) to report to the Mayor and the Speaker of the Council, and post on the ACS website, a quarterly report about the amount of time that children spend in the children’s center or a temporary placement facility. The report would include information about the number of days spent in a facility, the type of facility, the age of the child, the level of care recommended, the number of children placed in a facility for the first time and the number of children placed in a facility on two or more occasions.
