Summary
This bill would require the Department of Parks and Recreation to collect data on community gardens and issue an annual report summarizing this data. Additionally, this bill would require the Department of Parks and Recreation to study the citywide ecological impacts of community gardens. This bill would also direct the agency to develop a system to permit community gardens to operate farmers markets within community gardens.
