Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 1 of title 21 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 21-151 to read as follows: � 21-151 Third-party verification to determine benefits and services eligibility. Notwithstanding the provisions of any law or regulations to the contrary, and in consultation with the mayor's office of operations and any other agency the commissioner deems appropriate, the commissioner shall establish, no later than March 31, 2023, a system to obtain employment and income information from a third-party commercial consumer reporting agency, in accordance with 15 U.S.C. s. 1681 et seq., for the purpose of determining eligibility for benefits and services administered by the department. � 2.
