Summary
This bill would raise civil penalties for unlawful eviction, prohibit building owners who engage in unlawful evictions from taking part of any city subsidy, tax abatement, or tax exemption program for 5 years from the date of unlawful eviction, and allow owners who engage in unlawful evictions to set aside a portion of the building for affordable housing in order to cure the record of such unlawful eviction violations.
