Summary
This bill would amend certain dates fixed in the New York City Charter in relation to the executive budget process. This bill would require the Director of the Independent Budget Office to publish a report analyzing the Mayor’s executive budget for the ensuing fiscal year no later than May 20 each year. Additionally, this bill would provide that between May 10 and May 31 each year, the Council shall hold public hearings on the Mayor’s executive budget.
