This bill would require the NYC Department of Sanitation to establish an online mechanism for citizens to submit information and sworn statements of potential illegal dumping of refuse onto any public or private space, when carried out during the course of commercial activity and through the use of a vehicle.

Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subdivision f of section 16-119 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new paragraph 4 to read as follows: (4) The department shall implement and maintain the capability for any individual or individuals to furnish information about a potential violation of subdivision a of this section online, at the time such potential violation is taking place. � 2.
