Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 1 of title 17 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended to add new section 17-199.29, to read as follows: � 17-199.29 Information on protecting outdoor workers from extreme weather. The department shall make available information on best practices for protecting outdoor workers from extreme weather, including extreme heat, extreme cold, and low air quality, on the department's website, in English and in each of the designated citywide languages as defined in section 23-1101. In fulfilling the requirement of this section, the department may direct users to guidance published by the state department of health or the occupational safety and health administration. � 2.
