Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 6 of title 19 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding thereto a new section 19-606 to read as follows: �19-606. a. It shall be unlawful to operate a school bus upon any road, street, avenue, boulevard or highway in the city of New York when the number of passengers is greater than the number of seats available. b.Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a traffic infraction punishable by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars in accordance with section 1800 of the vehicle and traffic law. �2.
