Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Subdivision a of section 17-104 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new paragraph 4 to read as follows:
4. To provide prompt written notice to the affected borough presidents, council members and community boards of any action to be taken by the department concerning any public health emergency or public health alert within the city.
� 2. This local law shall take effect immediately.
