Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter two of title twenty-three of the administrative code of the city of New York is hereby amended by adding a new section 23-204, to read as follows. � 23-204 Official reports to be made available over the worldwide web a. All official reports issued by the city or its agencies, the council, the office of the public advocate and the office of the comptroller, including but not limited to those reports mandated by any part of the administrative code of city of New York for distribution to the public upon request, shall be made available as soon as practicable upon issuance on the worldwide web through the city's official web site. b. Each office or entity enumerated in subsection a shall have a designated webmaster, who shall be responsible for uploading such reports onto the city's official web site. c. Each office or entity enumerated in subsection a shall file a monthly statement with the Office of New Media listing which reports it has arranged to be uploaded onto the city's official web site; each office or entity shall be responsible for updating such statement as necessary. d. The Office of New Media shall maintain records of each agency's compliance with this section. e. Nothing in this section shall be construed to require an agency to make available any document that is otherwise exempted from disclosure by federal, state or local statute � 2.
