Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Section 16-126 of title 16 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new subdivision e to read as follows:
(e) All salt stored for purposes of snow removal shall be stored in impermeable, weather-proof containers of a type approved by the commissioner.
�2. This local law shall take effect ninety days after its enactment into law.
