Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Section 27-191 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by lettering the existing section as subdivision a and adding a new subdivision b to read as follows:
b. The department shall, within five business days of receipt of an application pursuant to section 27-157 or section 27-168 of this code, notify the community board and council member in whose district the property in question is located of the receipt of such application. Such notice shall contain a general description of the proposed work, the proposed occupancy and the number of units, and the location.
�2. This local law shall take effect ninety days after its enactment.
