Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Chapter one of title 16 of the administrative code of the city of New York is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section 16-120.2 to read as follows:
� 16-120.2 Twice weekly non-recyclable solid waste collections. A minimum schedule of twice weekly collection of non-recyclable solid waste shall be implemented and maintained in every local service delivery district. However, the commissioner may provide for more frequent collection of non-recyclable solid waste.
�2. This law shall take effect immediately.
